Positioned on a ten acre working farm, the rolling hills of Matakana set the backdrop for a private garden wedding alongside the property's historic villa, vintage barn and speakeasy bar. Home to the beautiful Omaha Beach and famous farmers' market, Matakana Barn Weddings create uniquely New Zealand experiences in the northern countryside, just an hour from Auckland.

The Barn Door and Speakeasy venues are the creations of ANNIE O, a stylist specialising in custom design & concepts for events & spaces. With Annie's unique skill set and 30 years of knowledge in the floral, styling and event industries, she transforms any event into a unique and unforgettable experience. BUT here is the twist -
