Our venue in the Matakana hills can accommodate for a wide range of party styles, allowing guests to flow freely from table to bar to garden.

Every wedding is one of a kind and unique, but please use the examples below as a rough guide to our pricing and have a chat with us about how we can build your perfect ceremony and reception.


Casual Garden Wedding

Simple garden wedding with full use of the Speakeasy & Barndoor and Garden, plus Back Wedding Deck or Garden Rotunda.

$4,000~

— A private ceremony will be held in our garden band rotunda. 
— Parking for guests in the lower paddock
— Duty Manager - first aid - shuts venue
— Access to the venue from the Day before - Full day - noon the next day
— Key to the venue to set up with full access
— BYO - bar fridge and fridges outback

  • No commercial kitchen, you will need to supply what you need

  • Three day, 72-hour access to the venue

  • Two portable restrooms supplied for the men’s, plus women’s bathroom inside the Speakeasy

Optional Villa Accommodation

— Suite for the Bridal party to get ready and with one Master bedroom - you can then settle in, relax and get prepared in the House with no distractions - 2 Night minimum stay
— Access to the property stay the day before and check out noon day after the wedding or function
— A welcome basket with local produce - A local bottle of wine - and complementary flowers for the house - POA

Formal Church Wedding

$5,000~

— A private ceremony with the celebrant will be held in a nearby church.
— Basic floral package for church entrance and pew ends

Everything Else

Conferences, team building, parties, workshops, you name it. We can provide the space for just about any event you can think of.

Half Day (7am–12pm)
$125

Full Day (7am–6pm)
$225

Terms & Conditions

1. Venue Access & Use

  • 72-hour access is granted for your event.

  • All rubbish, bottles, and recycling must be removed off-site by the end of the hire period.

  • All food scraps and perishables must be cleared from the venue, including any food in fridges.

2. Hire Items & Setup

  • Any hired items must be removed from the venue by the close of business on Day 3.

  • Hired items awaiting pickup must be stored outside under the pergola, as the venue will be locked.

  • Parking behind the barn is for catering and bridal cars only. All others in the field below

3. Booking & Payment

  • A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date.

  • Cancellations made 60 days or more before the event will receive a full deposit refund.

  • Cancellations within 60 days of the event will not be eligible for a deposit refund.

  • Full payment for the venue hire is due 7 days before the event.

4. Bond & Refunds

  • A bond will be required and refunded within 7 days following the event, provided all conditions (clean-up, removal of items, and no damages) have been met.

  • Any excess cleaning over and above the bond will be charged to the hirer
