Our Story
Positioned on a ten acre working farm, the rolling hills of Matakana set the backdrop for a private garden wedding alongside the property's historic villa, vintage barn and speakeasy bar.
Home to the beautiful Omaha Beach and famous farmers' market, Matakana Barn Weddings create uniquely New Zealand experiences in the northern countryside, just an hour from Auckland.
Ceremony
Let us create the perfect plan for your wedding. We can arrange as much or as little as you would like with our network of talented local creatives, to craft a truly unique celebration.
Reception
Flowing on seamlessly from a garden or church ceremony, couples and up to 120 guests can celebrate in our rustic barn, speakeasy bar and outdoor spaces. Parking on the front lawn area - and local transport can be provided.
